Facility Assistant
Join a Team That Changes Lives Every Day
At The Lending Cupboard®, we believe that access to medical equipment should never depend on a person's ability to pay. As a registered charitable organization serving Central Alberta, we provide medical and mobility equipment loans at no charge, helping thousands of individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
With a growing inventory of more than 16,000 pieces of equipment and increasing demand for our services, we are looking for an enthusiastic, mechanically inclined Facility Assistant to join our dedicated team.
This is more than a job. It is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community every day.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who loves to learn, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in ensuring things work exactly as they should.
As a Facility Assistant, you will become an expert in the maintenance, repair, quality control, and management of our extensive inventory of medical equipment. Your attention to detail, willingness to mentor volunteers, and commitment to excellence will help ensure every piece of equipment leaving our facility is safe, reliable, and ready to improve a client's life.
No two days are ever the same. One morning you may be refurbishing a wheelchair, and the next you could be training volunteers, or organizing inventory.
Complete training is provided. We can teach the skills. We can't teach passion, integrity, and a willingness to serve others.
Schedule
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
